What to Expect During Your First Visit
When patients arrive at Kennebec River Dentistry for their first appointment, we treat you like a member of the family. A staff member will give you a tour of our office and introduce you to all our dental staff. We follow that up by getting a clearer picture of our patients with a dental and medical history review. Your appointment includes a review of what you hope to accomplish, taking your blood pressure and a complete oral examination, which includes:
- Smile Evaluation
- Oral Cancer Screening
- Necessary Digital X-rays
- Evaluation of the health of your jaw joint (the TMJ)
- A close look at each individual tooth along with the gums and bone that support them.
Expect a Very Thorough Exam for Your First Appointment
Kennebec River Dentistry is proud to offer our patients a very thorough exam. If you haven’t seen us before, you’ll probably need to block off about two hours of for the first appointment. We highly recommended that you download and fill out the necessary forms before you arrive. You can do so by tapping on the link below.
If you are unable to fill out these forms before your first visit, or if you have forgotten to, no worries. We encourage our patients to arrive 15 minutes early to their appointment so they can fill out the necessary forms in the office.
